ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Many people, both domestically and internationally, have aspirations to become entrepreneurial business owners.  However, it takes a dream, much thinking, passion, persistence, risk-taking, and execution.  The Foundation is working with the University of Missouri’s campuses in Columbia (UM-C) and Kansas City (UMKC) to advance entrepreneurship.  The Roethelis were instrumental in establishing an entrepreneurship program at UM-C.  The UMKC campus is recognized as one of the top 10 programs in entrepreneurship in the United States, and the Foundation is working to further advance the program.  The Roethelis also have visited with students on a number of other campuses concerning entrepreneurship.  For the past two years, they have sponsored the Kansas City Business Monthly’s 25 Under 25 Awards Program.
